I used to be extremely overweight, I weighed 140 kg/308 lbs, and looking in the mirror used to be the hardest things in the world. I avoided my reflection like the plague and when I did saw myself, I would die a little inside.
There was a point in my life where I decided I was done feeling hideous and awful about myself…Something needed to change!
I flushed my medication through the toilet, dragged myself to the swimmingpool every day, started dancing, drank tons of water, and started a healthy diet.
In 2 years time, I’ve lost half of myself… 70 kg/154 lbs. Even though it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever did, I did it all on my own!
This was scary for me, as sometimes I still see my old self in that mirror, but I worked damn hard for those curves..
So I just went for it!
